Foreign trade in agri-food products, 4/2023 (preliminary)

In April 2023, imports of agricultural products and foodstuffs amounted to EUR 0.53 billion and exports to EUR 0.17 billion. The value of imports fell by +14% from April of the previous year. The value of exports fell by -5% over the same period.

• Meat imports -17% in value and exports +2% in value.
• Potato imports -20% in value and exports -60% in value.
• Imports of fruit and berries -3% in value and exports -18% in value.
• Vegetables imports +10% in value, exports -29% in value.
• Value of imports of alcoholic beverages -14%, value of exports +14%.
• Value of feed imports -6%, value of exports +30%.
