Foreign trade in agri-food products, 3/2023 (preliminary)

In March 2023, imports of agricultural products and foodstuffs amounted to EUR 0.65 billion and exports to EUR 0.20 billion. The value of imports rose by +3% from March of the previous year. The value of exports also rose by +3% over the same period.

• Value of imports of dairy products +28% and value of exports +4%.
• Meat imports +11% in value and exports +27% in value.
• Import value of potatoes -34% and export value -76%.
• Imports of fruit and berries -5% in value, exports unchanged.
• Vegetables imports +16% in value, exports -30% in value.
• Value of imports of alcoholic beverages -5%, value of exports +9%.
• Imports of feedstuffs -17% in value, exports -27% in value.
