Egg Production Statistics, Q4 2013

• Egg production last year stood at 66.9 million kilos, which is 8% more than the year before.
• Compared to the year before, the volume of enriched cage rose 4%, in barn-type hen house 8% and organic eggs 17%.
• 64% of eggs were produced in enriched cages, 34% in barn-type hen houses and 4% came from organic poultry farms.
