Egg Production Statistics, Q3 2023

In January-September, about 56 million kilos of eggs were produced, which is 2% less than in the same period last year. 

• Production of barn eggs (+19%) and free range eggs (+9%) increased. The production of eggs from enriched cages (-31%) and organic eggs (-26%) decreased.
• About 66% were barn eggs, 24% eggs from enriched cages, 6% organic eggs and 3% free range eggs.
