Egg Production Statistics, Q2/ 2023

In April-June, about 18,5 million kilos of eggs were produced, which is 2% more than in the same period last year.

• Production of barn eggs (+25%) and free range eggs (+13%) increased. The production of eggs from enriched cages (-27%) and organic eggs (-29%) decreased.

• About 66% were barn eggs, 24% eggs from enriched cages, 6% organic eggs and 3% free range eggs.
