Egg Production Statistics, Q4 and year 2023

In 2023, just over 75 million kilos of eggs were produced, which is 1% less than in previous year. 

• Production of barn eggs (+19%) increased. The production of eggs from enriched cages (-29%), organic eggs (-25%) and free range eggs (-2%) decreased.
• In 2023, 67% were barn eggs, 24% eggs from enriched cages, 6% organic eggs and 3% free range eggs.
