Egg Production Statistics, Q3 2011

- 47.6 million kilos of eggs were produced during January–September, which is 4% more than during the corresponding period of 2010.
- 70% of eggs were produced in hen houses with battery cages or enriched cages, 28% in barn-type hen houses and 2% came from organic poultry farms.
