  • 29 million kilos of eggs were produced during January–June, which is 9% less than during the corresponding period of 2011.
  •  Compared to corresponding period of 2011 the volume of barn eggs (+10%) and organic eggs (+50%) grew, while those from caged hens (-18%) declined.
