Berry sector to rice by networking

In order to develop berry production sector, effective cooperation between industry players are needed.

The project “Berry sector to rice by networking” (VIN) aims at enhancing cooperation between the Finnish actors in the sector by creating a common strategy to strengthen the visibility and impact of the berry sector. The project squeezes the operators in the Northern Savo area into a unified berry cluster and develops coherent models of research and experimental activities, data transfer, training, product development, branding, service development, internationalization, future orientation and marketing.

In order to develop cooperation, Berry-Knowhow (Marjatieto) group has been established, committed to achieving the objectives.

The project is led by the development company SavoGrow Oy. The University of Eastern Finland (UEF) and the Natural Resources Institute Finland are partners.
