Sustainable nutrient management in vegetable production

The aims are 1. to produce data on the effects of nitrogen and phosphorus fertilization on the yield, economy and environmental load of vegetable production, 2. to adjust the amount and timing of N fertilization of vegetables by utilizing the modeling and 3. to increase the growers' knowledge on soil and nutrient economy of vegetables and to illustrate the economic effects of fertilization decisions.
The project produces data for updating the fertilization recommendations and reducing the harmful environmental effects.
