Aquaculture innovation program: RAS

Aquaculture innovation program aims at sustainably increasing the volume and value of Finnish aquaculture production. Domestic production would increase the share of the consumption, imports currently cover appr. 70 % of the Finnish seafood consumption. In the innovation program, new technologies and practices are developed, piloted and tested. In this project, recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS) production preconditions are improved in collaboration with network companies and partners.
