Pedotransfer functions and soil monitoring data: More comprehensive, accessible, and easily applicable information on the hydraulic properties of Finland's agricultural soils

PedoHydro

The aim of the project is to produce more comprehensive, accessible, and easily applicable information on the hydraulic properties of Finland's arable soils, utilizing pedotransfer functions and national soil monitoring (VALSE) data. The need for this information has been recognized at both national and EU levels, and the results can be integrated into various calculation models aimed at improving the water management of fields and catchment areas amidst changing climate conditions.
