Opportunities for the combined use of soil amendments - Circular economy and land management_Part 2 (AIN3)

AIN3_Osa 2

Soil amendments such as gypsum, structure lime, and soil improvement fibers (nutrient/zero fibers) aim to reduce nutrient and solid matter loads from fields to water bodies. In addition, they can improve soil structure, water management, and crop yield capacity. In the summer of 2023, the AIN3 project began in the Savijoki catchment area in Southwest Finland to investigate the combined use of these three substances. Part 2 continues the work of the first AIN3 project in collaboration with the Finnish Environment Institute and the Southwest Finland ELY Centre. Luke's task is to investigate the impact of soil amendments on crop yields and soil properties
