Producer Prices of Agricultural Products, 9/2023 (provisional)

The price of milk decreased compared to the previous month, and was also lower than the price of year ago. The prices of cereals were clearly lower than those of the corresponding month of 2022. The price of food potatoes was clearly higher than the corresponding price of the previous year.

Producer prices of September 2023 compared to the same month a year before, and the previous month (in parentheses):

  • the price of milk on average: -6 % (-3,6 %)
  • the price of bull meat: +3 % (+0,5 %)
  • the price of pork (fattening pigs): -1 % (+0,4 %)
  • the price of eggs from caged hens: +5 % (-2,2 %)
  • the price of eggs from barn hens: +0 % (-0,3 %)
  • the price of bread wheat: -23 % (-0,4 %)
  • the price of feed barley: -26 % (+0,4 %)
  • the price of oats: -27 % (-1,4 %)
  • the price of food potatoes: +12 % (-1,3%).

The price of eggs has been changed retrospectively since the beginning of 2023 as a result of the refinement of statistics on eggs produced in our own henhouse.
