Producer Prices of Agricultural Products, 10/2023 (provisional)

The price of milk was lower than the price of year ago. The prices of cereals were clearly lower than those of the corresponding month of 2022. The price of food potatoes decreased compared to price of the previous month.

Producer prices of October 2023 compared to the same month a year before, and the previous month (in parentheses):

• the price of milk on average: -9 % (+2,4 %)
• the price of bull meat: +2 % (-0,5 %)
• the price of pork (fattening pigs): -2 % (-0,6 %)
• the price of eggs from caged hens: +8 % (+2,5 %)
• the price of eggs from barn hens: +0 % (+1,3 %)
• the price of bread wheat: -25 % (+2,0 %)
• the price of oats: -24 % (+1,1 %)
• the price of food potatoes: +4 % (-2,9%).

The average milk producer price for October was changed on 30 November 2023 due to an error in calculation.

The price of eggs has been changed retrospectively since the beginning of 2023 as a result of the refinement of statistics on eggs produced in our own henhouse.
