Producer prices for fish species with catch quotas, 4th quarter 2022

During the fourth quarter of 2022, the producer prices of Baltic herring and sprat increased compared to the fourth quarter of 2021. The producer price of industrial Baltic herring increased by 31 % and sprat by 32 %. The producer price of Baltic herring intended for human consumption increased by 15 %.

• The producer price of Baltic herring was EUR 0.30 per kg.
• The producer price of Baltic herring intended for human consumption was EUR 0.54 per kg.
• The producer price of industrial Baltic herring used as feed was EUR 0.25 per kg.
• The producer price of sprat was EUR 0.25 per kg.
