Foreign trade in agri-food products, 1/2022 (preliminary)

In January 2022, imports of agricultural products and foodstuffs amounted to EUR 0.46 billion, and exports amounted to EUR 0.13 billion. The value of imports increased by + 26% from January of the previous year. The value of exports increased by only + 8% during the same period.

• The value of meat exports is -20% and the value of imports is + 16%.
• The value of grain exports +30% and the value of imports +310%.
• The value of potato exports +200%, the value of imports -40%.
• Value of exports of alcoholic beverages +30%, value of imports + 66%.
• Value of feed exports -22%, value of imports + 33%.
