Organic crop in 2020, provisional

The total organic cereals harvest for 2020 – 153,000 tons – was 7% higher than in 2019, which accounts for 5 per cent of the total cereals harvest in Finland.

• The production of oats increased by 4,000 tons to 80,000 tons (+5%).
• The production of barley increased by 4,000 tons to 23,000 tons (+24%).
• The production of wheat increased to 19,000 tons (+3%).
• The production of rye stayed stable in 10,000 tons (+/-0%).
