Organic crop in 2019, provisional

The total organic cereals harvest for 2019 – 140,000 tons – was 63% higher than in 2018, which accounts for 3.5 per cent of the total cereals harvest in Finland.

• The production of oats increased by 31,000 tons to 77,000 tons (+67%).
• The production of wheat increased by 7,000 tons to 17,000 tons (+71%).
• The production of barley increased to 17,000 tons (+45%).
• The production of rye increased to 9,000 tons (+114%).
