Organic crop in 2019

The total organic cereals harvest for 2019 – 143,000 tons – was 66% higher than in 2018, which accounts for 3.5 per cent of the total cereals harvest in Finland.

• The production of oats increased by 30,000 tons to 76,000 tons (+66%).
• The production of wheat increased by 8,000 tons to 18,000 tons (+81%).
• The production of barley increased to 18,000 tons (+55%).
• The production of rye increased to 10,000 tons (+136%).
