Organic crop in 2018, provisional

The total organic cereals harvest for 2018 – 80 000 tons – was 17% lower than in 2017, which accounts for 2.9 per cent of the total cereals harvest in Finland.

• The production of oats decreased by 15,000 tons to 44,000 tons (-25%).
• The production of wheat decreased by 1,000 tons to 10,000 tons (-12%).
• The production of barley increased to 11,000 tons (+3%).
• The production of rye decreased to 4,000 tons (-29%).
