Access to experimental cultivation fields - Jokioinen
On this page
The experimental cultivation fields allow for various plot-scale field trials, such as examining the effects of different treatments on plant growth and yield.
Approximately 620 hectares of arable land are available, with known cultivation history and soil fertility indicators.
The field area offers opportunities for extensive and diverse experimentation, including studies on the impact of different crop species and varieties, fertilizer products, tillage methods, and plant protection measures on yield and input use efficiency.
Appropriate plot-scale cultivation and harvesting equipment is available for field trials. The service includes experiment planning and preparation, various measurements, sampling, harvesting, yield results, and other measurements according to the research plan. The resulting research data is delivered as agreed.
The experimental fields can also be used for equipment testing.
Sample collection
Observations, sampling, and measurements are carried out according to the experimental design.
Target groups
Researchers, research groups, research communities, research networks, research projects, research organizations, companies.
Access type
- Physical, remote or hybrid access.
- Minimum duration: one growing season.
Service usage restrictions
Research must not cause long-term harm or reduce the usability of the infrastructure after the experiment.
