The biodiversity area can be used to study the species diversity of long-term grasslands established with different seed mixtures. The research can focus on both above-ground (plants and insects) and below-ground organisms.
The experimental design (strip plot design) consists of three different seed mixtures (a meadow plant mix and two grass mixes) and two mowing treatments (mowing vs. no mowing). The area is managed by mowing half of the plots each year.
The service includes planning the implementation of the research experiment, treatment of the experiment, and measurement and monitoring work.
Sample collection
Sampling and measurements are carried out in accordance with the experimental plan, and the research data is delivered as agreed.
Target groups
Researchers, research groups, research communities, research networks, research projects, research organizations, companies.
Access type
- Physical, remote or hybrid access.
Service usage restrictions
- The use of pesticides, soil cultivation, and destruction of permanent vegetation is prohibited.
