In addition to low profitability, the challenges of enterprises in the horse industry are especially low utilization of technology, a large amount of physical human work and sticking to traditional methods of operation in a changing world. The goal of this project is to compile, develop and implement good practices in horse keeping and working, and to increase the introduction of new technology in the development of work, economy, environment and well-being in the horse industry. With the help of the interactive digital road map built in the project, work in the horse industry, stable environments and ways of keeping horses will be modernized. The goal is for the digital road map to become a development tool and information bank leading to continuous improvement for the horse entrepreneur. The target groups of the project are entrepreneurs in the horse industry, farms engaged in horse activities, and employees in the horse sector. Beneficiaries are also horse owners, horse industry enthusiasts and the general public. The long-term goal of the project is to improve the operating conditions, competitiveness and profitability of horse enterprises. The goal is to increase the responsibility and sustainability of the horse industry as part of the Finnish countryside and society.
