The Tuki project (Support – Knowledge to Promote Safer Recycled Fertilizers) aims to provide updated information on the concentrations of contaminants (including microplastics) in products and raw materials used as recycled fertilizers in Finland. The project also seeks to assess the potential risks these substances pose to the environment and the food chain, and to explore methods for reducing contaminant levels.
