The main objective of the project is to find ways and develop guidelines for managing toxin risks in the production chain of crimped grain. The project will 1) conduct a literature review on grain toxins to compile the latest research information, 2) map the occurrence of toxins and factors that expose to toxins in crimped grain based on farm samples, 3) investigate toxin risk management in feed grain cultivation and challenging storage conditions, and 4) distribute the information generated in the project to target groups in a timely manner. Based on the measures, practical guidelines will be compiled for preventing toxin risk in the crimped grain production chain.
