Enhancing tourists’ nature experiences - Analysis of landscape quality in ski resorts

The thesis focuses on tourists’ nature experiences, in particular how they can be enhanced through land use in tourism resorts, where visitor flows are growing fast and year-round tourism is targeted. The evaluations of land use aim at finding better ways to foster landscape quality of ski resorts through managing relationship between natural and manmade environments. This thesis is composed of four substudies and research articles:
