Potato cultivation in Tunisia faces several biotic and abiotic stresses that are responsible for about 30-50% losses in yields. To overcome phytopathogen infection, Tunisian farmers use high amounts of chemical pesticides. Water management is also a constant problem for cultivation. The proposed project aims to develop sustainable techniques for tuber seed production chain from the potato hybrids having improved tolerance to abiotic and biotic stresses.
