EU-DCF Catch sampling

Sampling the catches of commercial marine fishery for collecting data on biological variables of fish stocks e.g. length, age, growth and maturity. The data is collected for economically important species; herring, sprat, pikeperch, perch, common whitefish, vendace and salmon. Also, by-catch samples of sea trout and eel are collected.
In addition, samples of salmon are collected from recreational fishery in the Rivers Simojoki, Tornionjoki, and Tenojoki. Also, eels are sampled in the River Kokemäenjoki and River Kymijoki watersheds.
