CryoGeVa - Development of cryoconservation methods for preservation of animal genetic resources

In the CryoGeva -project, in vitrp production (IVP) of sheep embryos is developed for long-term preservation of genetic variation and genetic resources of Finnish native sheep breeds. Embryos of the native breeds will be stored in frozen gene bank.
