Modernisation of agricultural statistics data information system

The project is a Commission-funded Grants project related to the development of statistics, which includes two work packages. The main goal of the first work package is to develop the architectural architecture and information systems of statistical production in accordance with the roadmap of Tipa's ICT strategy. The practical implementation is the modernization of the milk statistics information system Heluna. As a result of the work package, work related to Statistical Information Systems can be done largely in the Luke Digi Group, which will significantly reduce the need for purchasing services in the future. Centralizing these services in a digital group creates unity and brings flexibility, agility, and cost savings.

The second work package further develops the method for estimating yield statistics as a follow-up to the development started in the Cropyield project. In addition to improving the quality of harvest statistics, the aim is to reduce statistical surveys and thus the response burden.
