AgroServ agroecological RI services call open until 23 October

The first TNA (Transnational Access) call for AgroServ services has opened, and pre-proposals for access to the research infrastructure services can be submitted until 23 October at 12 noon (CET). The deadline for second phase applications is 24 November at 12 noon CET. AgroServ offers a integrated set of research infrastructure services for research on sustainable and resilient agriculture and agroecological transition. AgroServ's main goal is to support research and innovation to achieve more sustainable and resilient agriculture and to support the agroecological transition in line with the One Health approach across Europe. It provides researchers and businesses with access to customised and integrated research infrastructure services with facilities and resources. 

AgroServ's integrated research infrastructure services provided through the TNA call will enable multidisciplinary research activities at all scales, from molecules to organisms, ecosystems, communities and society. A common catalogue of services will bring together the customised services available to users from research infrastructures across disciplines. More than 100 services from 24 countries are available in the AgroServ service catalogue.

Access to research infrastructure services is granted on the basis of scientific excellence, feasibility and expected outcomes. Applications will be evaluated by an evaluation panel. A two-stage application procedure ensures the feasibility and scientific quality of the projects proposed. The access is free of cgarge for selected service users, and the will receive full support to complete the proposed tests, including:  

  • free access to research facilities for eligible user groups  
  • support for travel and accommodation.  
  • on-site logistical support for infrastructure staff  
  • access to the knowledge and expertise of the research infrastructures needed to carry out the proposed experimental work.
