Pirjo Yli-Hemminki

I study special crops (e.g. buckwheat, faba bean, mustard, oats...) characteristics, inoculants and organic soil amendment products in crop rotation and mixed cropping, and if they can be utilized to enrich plant-growth-promoting microbes in rhizosphere. Aim is to enhance nutrient acquisition of crops from field soil.
