Expertise

I am interested in finding sustainable solutions for closing the agricultural nutrients cycle via recycling nutrient-rich sidestreams in plant production. My current research focuses on phosphorus utilization of sidestreams such as lake sediments, manure, sewage sluge, or food waste in agriculture, and to quantify their effects on crops and environment including greenhouse gas emissions, nutrients leaching, and soil biota.
