Katja Lähtinen

I am a forest scientist specialized in business economics. My areas of expertise broadly cover issues related to strategic management and marketing, aiming for competitiveness that aligns with the goals of sustainable development and the sustainability transition. Empirically, my research primarily focuses on the structures of supply and demand in the value chains and networks of the forest sector, from primary forest production to the end use of products and services. I use both qualitative and quantitative approaches as research methods.
