Jaana Sorvali

I work on climate change issues in agriculture and on the citizen aspects of a fair transition. My research focuses on the views of farmers, but also of other citizens and the social acceptability of various climate change adaptation and mitigation measures. I also have a broad understanding of climate change adaptation issues, including adaptation policy development and evaluation, and adaptation in the Arctic. I am an environmental social scientist with a master’s degree in Political Science (University of Tampere), a master's degree in Geography (University of Helsinki) and a PhD in agroecology (University of Helsinki). My special interest is behavioral research related to climate change (environmental psychology).
