Ella Ahti

I started in summer 2022 as an intern for Luke at the invasive alien species-group. I got the chance to return to Luke and to the same group in May 2023. I am part of the team that is responsible for coordinating matters related to invasive alien species. In addition I work with the plant health department especially in matters concerning the KasKas application. In summer 2023 I am graduating from the master's programme for ecology and evolutionary biology. My master's thesis focuses on the large carnivores of northern Kenya and how they are adapting to the environmental changes caused by humans. I conducted this study by using camera traps together with the local Daasanach-community.
