Description

The statistics show estimated annual stumpage earnings based on roundwood removals and stumpage prices by region, forest ownership category and roundwood assortment. The statistics are published in Luke’s Statistics service. Gross stumpage earnings have been recorded since 1958, and statistics are available in the database from 2002.

Content

Gross stumpage earnings are calculated on the basis of annual commercial removals and stumpage prices per roundwood assortment. In the non-industrial, private group, earnings also include the forest owner's estimate on wood harvested for own use. The information is given by region, forest ownership category and roundwood assortment. Information for non-industrial, private forests is published by earning method (standing sales, delivery sales and harvesting for own use). Gross stumpage earnings are calculated by the location where earnings are generated.
