Producer Prices of Agricultural Products, year 2014 and 1/2015 (milk and meat)

During the year 2014 compared to the previous year:

• prices of cereals declined more than 20 per cent, except price of rye declined 10 per cent
• price of milk was higher in early 2014 than in previous years but fell towards the yearend and was on a par with the end of 2012
• prices of meat declined 2-9 per cent, except price of sheep meat increased 6 per cent
• prices of eggs declined 15 per cent

In January 2015 compared to the same month a year before:

• the price of standard milk (quality class E) declined by 9 per cent
• the price of bull meat declined by two per cent
• the price of pork (fattening pigs) declined by 7 per cent

Producer prices of eggs, cereals, rape and food potatoes in January will be published 2.3.2015.
