In 2025, arable land was most expensive in Åland, where the average price per hectare was EUR 12,914 euro. The second highest prices were in Southern Finland, where a hectare of arable land cost EUR 10,135, while in Western Finland the price was EUR 9,296 per hectare. In Northern and Eastern Finland, arable land is clearly cheaper, at EUR 6,013 per hectare. At the national level, the average purchase price was EUR 8,535 per hectare, which is a decrease of EUR 135 per hectare compared to 2024.

Compared to the previous year, the purchase prices of arable land decreased in all other regions except Northern and Eastern Finland, where the price increased by EUR 531 per hectare. The largest decrease occurred in Helsinki-Uusimaa, where the price fell by EUR 1,182 per hectare.
