Land purchase prices 2023

In 2023, agricultural land was the most expensive in southern Finland, where arable hectares cost an average of EUR 10,366. The second most expensive arable land was in the Helsinki-Uusimaa area, where the price of agricultural land was 10,296 euros, and in Western Finland, field hectar cost 10,019. In Northern and Eastern Finland, agriculture land is clearly cheaper, at 5,686 €/ha.

Compared to the previous year, the purchase prices of agriculture land rose in the areas of Helsinki-Uusimaa and Southern Finland. In contrast, the prices of agriculture land fell in Western Finland and Northern and Eastern Finland compared to 2022.
