Foreign trade in agri-food products, 8/2022 (preliminary)

In August 2022, agricultural products and foodstuffs were imported with a value of 0.61 billion euros and exported with a value of 0.19 billion euros. The value of imports increased by +26% from August of the previous year. The value of exports increased by +17% in the same period.

• Meat import value +25% and export value +42%.
• Import value of fruits and berries -9%, export value +308%.
• Import value of vegetables -5%, export value -48%.
• Import value of alcoholic beverages +68%, export value +22%.
• Import value of feed +36%, export value +16%.
