Foreign trade in agri-food products, 6/2022 (preliminary)

In June 2022, agricultural products and foodstuffs were imported with a value of 0.55 billion euros and exported with a value of 0.18 billion euros. The value of imports increased +22% from June of the previous year. The value of exports increased by +14% in the same period.

Export value of milk and dairy products +31% and import value +12%.
Meat export value +3% and import value +26%.
Export value of fruits and berries +84%, import value -13%.
Export value of vegetables +22%, import value -5%.
Export value of alcoholic beverages +1%, import value +33%.
Feed export value -48%, import value +36%.
The amount of grain export in the crop year 2021/2022 (July-June) -41% compared to the crop year 2020/2021. The amount of grain imports in the same period +491%.
