Food potato storages on farms 15.10.2014

• On-farm stocks of food potatoes stood at 191 million kilograms in mid-October.
• The total stocks were 17 million kilograms (-8 per cent) lower the previous year's levels.
• Food potatoes sowing area was reduced by 487 hectars (-5 per cent).

The next survey of on-farm food potato stocks will be carried out on 15 January 2015.
