• The area sown with winter rye more than doubled, rising to 27,000 hectares.
• The area sown with winter wheat rose to 25,700 hectares (+57%).
• Direct seeding was used for 4,800 hectares of winter rye, representing 18% of the total area sown with winter rye.
• Direct seeding was used for 9,100 hectares of winter wheat, representing 35% of the total area sown with winter wheat.
