Evaluation of the National Northern Support 2021–2025

This project evaluates the impact of the Northern Support in Finland during 2021–2025. The assessment is based on Articles 142 and 143 of Finland’s EU Accession Agreement: Article 142 sets the objectives of the support, and Article 143 requires reporting on its implementation and impacts.

The aim is to determine the extent to which the Northern Support has contributed to achieving its objectives in the designated areas. The evaluation focuses primarily on:

• the development of agricultural production,

• the structure and economy of agriculture.

In addition, the study considers rural vitality, environmental conditions, and the marketing of agricultural products.
