PlastLIFE - T5.4 Action Plastics in agriculture – replacing traditional ones by bio-based alternatives and increasing the knowledge of farmers

We develop an alternative to agricultural covering plastics based on bio-based materials such as side streams from the paper industry and pyrolysis processes, and we produce training material on the subject.

We also produce training and communication material on the sustainable use of agricultural plastics and the risks of plastics in farmland and the environment, as well as options to replace and recycle agricultural plastics.
