Producer Prices of Agricultural and Horticultural Products 9/2024 (provisional)

In September 2024, the producer price for milk was lower than in September a year earlier. Meat prices were also lower. Cereal prices in September were well below those of the corresponding period. Egg prices in September were slightly higher than a year earlier. The price of food potatoes remained at the same level as in September of the previous year.

Producer prices for September 2024 compared with the same month of the previous year and with the previous month (figure in brackets): 

  • the price of milk on average: -2 % (+7 %)
  • the price of bull meat: -5 % (-1 %)
  • the price of pork (fattening pigs): -4 % (+0 %)
  • the price of eggs from caged hens: +2 % (-1 %)
  • the price of eggs from barn hens: +1 % (+2 %)
  • the price of bread wheat: -16 % (+2 %)
  • the price of feed barley -26 % (-5 %)
  • the price of oats: -7 % (-2 %)
  • the price of food potatoes: -0 % (-7%).
