We are looking for trainees and seasonal employees at our locations around Finland. The application period is between 7.-31.1.2025.

Trainees are being sought in areas such as forestry and soil research, fish behaviour and welfare research and statistics production. Trainees will be involved in various stages of the research process, from data collection to analysis and documentation of results. Trainee period may be part of the studies or linked to the preparation of a thesis. As trainees, we recruit people who are still in the process of completing their studies leading to a degree.

Seasonal positions have been built around our unique research infrastructure, and they may involve the National Forest Inventory, crop production during the growing season, barns, farms, migratory fish research or other research assistant positions in our ongoing research projects. Seasonal employees can work as research assistants or research technicians, for example. We recruit both students who are still in the process of completing their studies and those who have already graduated.
