Biomass Atlas

The Biomass Atlas shows Finland's biomass on a map and makes the information available to everyone. The Biomass Atlas brings together spatial data on different biomasses in a single, open-access interface. The easy-to-use service provides information on land use, forest resources, logging by-products, arable crop production and its by-products, manure, biodegradable waste and sludge from industry and municipalities. Information from the Biomass Atlas can be used, for example, to plan investments and raw material purchases.

In addition to the map service, we have compiled other useful information on this website, including information on biomass. The site also contains materials and documents related to the use of the map service.
